Or Devonte. Or ShotByLucky.

Creator, sports photographer, videographer. Shooting from the sideline.

Most teams get one angle, filmed from the stands on somebody's phone. I shoot from the sideline, close enough to see faces. Football, whatever else your school plays, and the games nobody else turns up for. Jacksonville, and I travel. More about me

The work

This is what a Friday night looks like from the sideline.

Every one of these is mine, shot at a real game. Day games, night games, and the ones played in the rain that nobody else turns up for.

A throw going up, Clay side of the ball
Breaking off the line in front of a full stand
Set at the line, one second before the snap
Carrying it under the lights
Waiting it out by the post
The sideline, which is half the night
Rain game, the ball still goes up
Helmet on, about to go back out
Coming off in the rain
Warm ups, long before kickoff

A lineman walking the field as the sun goes down behind the stand
A receiver standing alone on the field, caught under the floodlights
A player on the sideline, helmet off, watching the game
A receiver taken down mid play, both of them still off the ground
A player in his helmet with a floodlight burning behind him
Close on a helmet, the player looking off down the field
Two team mates walking off arm in arm after a play
A defender standing at the centre of the field in the rain
The team gathered behind the flag before kickoff
Close on a player with the scoreboard lit up behind him
Set low at the line, a second before the snap
A player on his back holding the ball up through a crowd of legs
A player listening to the referee between plays
A player with a finger to his helmet, quieting the other stand
The defensive line strung out across the field, waiting
A player turning out of the pack under the lights
Profile of a player in a white helmet on the sideline
Two players facing off across the line
The ball leaving the quarterback, the pocket collapsing
A player sat on the bench with the cheer squad behind him
A lineman on the sideline beside the officials
Team mates walking back up the field together
The line set, the referee watching over the top of it
A back breaking away from the player marking him
A player standing in the dark between plays
A receiver in grey waiting for the ball to come his way
A player adjusting his glove with the stand behind him
A receiver lining up wide, the field stretching away
A player taking a drink on the sideline
The handoff, the back already starting to run
A player on the sideline against a clear sky
A quarterback setting his feet to throw
A single player standing out on an empty field
Two players running stride for stride down the touchline
Close on a player in his helmet between plays

These are from games I was invited to shoot. If you are in one and would rather not be, email me and it comes down the same day.

The reel

Every one of these starts the same way.

POV, then wherever I happen to be standing. Stadium, sideline, or the driver's seat on the way there.

Got something worth capturing?

Athletes, parents, coaches, athletic directors, booster clubs. A game, a season, one player, or a project that is not a game at all. Anywhere out to North Carolina or Alabama, say the word and I will be there. Further than that, give me two weeks and we will make it work.

Let's capture something special

Tell me what you have in mind.

From Friday night lights to college athletics and everything in between, I am always looking for the next opportunity to create. Whether you are an athlete, a parent, a coach, an athletic director, or someone with an idea worth capturing, fill out the form and let's make it happen.

Packages, travel rates and booking rules are on the pricing page.

The travel price comes from the drive time to that address, measured from wherever I am travelling from for that game. That is usually Jacksonville, but not always, and I confirm the drive time and the final price with you before you pay anything.
Games more than two hours away need about two weeks notice. Local games, three days.

This is a coverage request, not a confirmed booking. It goes straight to Devonte, who usually replies the same day.

Elsewhere

There is more than the football.

Every account I run is on one page, and the Call of Duty side of things has a page of its own.
